Day 4 Airlie Beach

 Day 4

woke early this morning and went to watch the bird feeding. So much fun getting involved with feeding time even if the birds don't have very many manners. After that Ed and I went back to the succulent lady and another 8 plants joined the family. did a bit of shopping and bought myself a "banana chair" for relaxing in the sun or shade which ever is more enjoyable. We were going to go to the pub for Melbourne cup but decided to have fashion on the field at home with a new made by Moi hat. had no joy with the cup this year, none of us came remotely close. A nice dip in the pool cooled us down then a few drinks by the van before we went for another stroll around the park admiring how nice it was-plus quick play in the playground (who said playgrounds were only for kids) back for a few more drinks and a little photo session with some cockatoos. Just a quiet day today gearing up for our adventure tomorrow on our tour around the islands with some snorkeling. Don't think there will be much snorkeling for me as the idea of getting up close and personal with the fish doesn't rock my boat but never say never. Holiday has been great so far with many adventures yet to happen.xx
