Day 2. Marlborough to Sarina to Mackay to Airlie Beach

 Day 2

Left our Pub Stay about 0700 to try and get to Airlie Beach in a timely manner. Had a couple of stops away and finally caught up with Nancy & Steve at Proserpine. They followed us to Airlie Beach with me messaging Nancy along the way about the nurseries we just HAD to visit whilst in Town. Arrived at the G'day Parks about 2pm and settled in for our 4 day sty. Once the van was set up we had a beer and decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and went for a swim. Airlie Beach is a beautiful place and our caravan park is sooooo catered for kids it would be wonderful to bring the grand kids her. Tomorrow will be our only free sight seeing day before we go deep sea fishing on Tuesday followed by a flutter on the Melbourne Cup followed by our tour of the island and Whitehaven beach on Wednesday. There is talk about jumping out of a perfectly good plane. We'll see how this pans out. off to bed big day tomorrow.xx
